ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going girl living life each day as it comes. I'm buying my own home and enjoy having my own sanctuary. It can get a little lonely though so I have decided to open my home to the couchsurfing community. What better way to meet new people and listen to all the travels people have done that I may never get to do. I've always worked in mining my entire adult life but don't work out on mine site - I love the life style of living in Mackay and having my weekends. In the summer months swimming is always high on the agenda and there are some beautiful fresh water creeks half an hours drive out of Mackay to refresh in. Swimming in a pool also is a favourite of mine although I'm not lucky to own one so the sprinkler is fine as well 😁 The beach is also available but jelly fish seem to put me off and it's just not as nice as a fresh water creek. I love how Mackay is bigger than a country town but smaller than a big city so everything is within half an hours driving distance. I love the slow life.... Although playing roller derby has definitely kept me busy this past year. Taking a step back from a decades worth of circus performing I have indulged my love of roller skating and joined a sport that is taking the nation by storm.

PHILOSOPHY

Take life one day at a time. Make the most of it as best I can. Everything happens for a reason...

I have travelled to New Zealand twice, once on a cruise which saw most of the coastal ports for 14 days and once in Queenstown snow skiing for 7 days. Bungy jumped 102m from The Pipeline a suspension bridge in Skiiper's Canyon. Both were experiences I'll never forget. Heading to Bali soon and can't wait!
