Hello^^
I am a 22 years old college student.
I go to Yonsei university in South Korea and am a junior in Psychology department.
For the past two years, I've been living in Paris.
After my year in french language school I got an opportunity to work as an intern until summer 2016.
Originally, I was there to learn French since my dream is to work for an international organization which frequently have cases to use French as well as English.
Now I am back on track! Being a student in Korea.

I love learning all sorts of things so meeting people from different backgrounds is one thing I really enjoy.
I am easy-going and friendly but strict at rules so if you have any rules for the surfer I am certain that I will obey it.
I already have a lot of experience of travelling .
I traveled a lot of places, sometimes with my family, sometimes by myself, and sometimes by the help of excuse for my academic job.
Also, I love children so I've been volunteering in orphanage for 3 years in a row.
This is quite a big part in my life but I love the moment I spend with children and with the people who I work together.
People who need someone to communicate, especially children or elders, love talking with me because I am both a great listener and a talker.
I also love singing, dancing, or watching someone else doing these things.
Overall, I am quite a talkative and festive person except in cases I "should be" serious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always loved traveling and already have done it quite a lot, but since I had a chance to spend my year in France, I had much more opportunities to travel all sorts of places in Europe.
Therefore, I took the most advantage of those years by visiting many places and get the grasp or overview of the very essence of the place.
When I first heard about couchsurfing, I was certain that this one will lead me to my purpose of feeling the "actual" city rather than a rough schedule filled with famous landmarks.
I am expecting to learn lot about the real life and aspects of the city from the hosts.
By this, I don't mean that I want you to guide me regardless of your schedule or so.
I mean that just by staying in local's house and spending even a small amount of time that's available with you will give me a better understaning.
So, don't feel any pressure!!
Anything you provide me is a great pleasure and a help for me, no matter if it's a time to chat or even nothing.^^

Now that I'm back in Korea with all the wonderful memories and favors I received from fellow couchsurfers in Europe, I would really want to give something back to the couchsurfing community.

Interests

I like dancing, music, and walking.
I hate most activities that makes me move (especially exercises!!) but I love dancing and walking, which is why I have no problems on traveling.
I am also interested in education of each country and children's rights.
That's because I wish to have a career in international organizations that help protecting children's rights especially related to their education.
And since I believe each person of the country represents a part of the country's education (since they are the ones who have gone through that education), I am interested in meeting and sharing thoughts with people from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love musical numbers.
I almost memorize some tracks from "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" or "Mammamia".
I also love pop dance musics since I like dancing.
I was in a dance club when I was in high school.

I prefer plays and musicals than movies so I don't watch it a lot but I like fantasies or suspense, mystery.
Same taste applies to books ; I loooooooooooooooove mystery books.
Sherlock Holmes is the one I love and admire the most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The one amazing thing I've done is the first trip I've done by myself.
Before, traveling was just having a break or following my parents as they planned.
By the year I turned 18, I decided to travel by myself and it was a hard decision.
My parents weren't trying to allow it since they thought it can be dangerous and I'm still young.
But I appealed my will strongly and went to U.S. by myself.
It was great in sense that everything was upto me.
I got more responsible and proactive in every step and experience I encounter.
It made my life much richer in all aspects, except for the money!!^^

Teach, Learn, Share

I am quite a qualified teacher and a tutor.
I earned my tuition by teaching English and Math to younger students in high school.
I can help you tutor your children, if you have one, with English or other homeworks.^^
Of course I can teach you Korean or Korean pop dances, songs if you want^^

I learn psychology in my university and had some courses in Geneva university about children's rights.
Currently, I'm learning French language in Paris.

Also if you are interested in cultures or lives of Eastern countries like Korea, China, or Japan, I am used to all three of them so I can share my thoughts or experiences, knowledges with you.
Would also be glad to share my stories from europe.
