About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life and be content.
ABOUT ME
I've been moving around far too much lately and I'm hoping to put down some roots in the next city that I live in. Thankfully putting down roots doesn't preclude traveling about a hell of a lot. I try to get out of my immediate area for a month or so twice a year with a friend or two for company. When I'm in town I generally find myself cooking meals for groups of friends and neighbors, going for hikes, practicing yoga poorly, and generally having a lovely time with lovely people.
PHILOSOPHY
It seems to me that people strive too much to be happy and this creates quite a lot of disappointment and sadness. So I strive more for contentment than happiness and it works out quite well. After all, life is so fun if you have reasonable goals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I always find myself moving into houses that have a house profile on this site. So, if you need a place to stay, please go to this link: http://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=DB2HVAP&from_search&search_ranking_hosts=1
I highly enjoy hosting as well as surfing or simply hanging out with people in my area.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed a bit in England, South Korea, and Alaska, but I actually prefer hosting. Unfortunately, not many people came through the Phoenix area, but it's picked up a bit since I moved to Anchorage.
Interests
Cooking vegetarian food. Drinking good beer. Most outdoor activities. Yoga. Oh, and I'm a bit of a science/math/philosophy/history/pretty much everything geek.
