About Me

Hi!!
Most of thehe photos are super outdated as I just installed CouchSurfing again after 7 years — I’m in Manchester for the weekend with a friend rn and we’d love to hang out today!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my favourite things about travelling is definitely meeting new people. When it comes to discovering a new place or travelling in general, I believe that no travel guide could ever replace gaining knowledge and experience by getting to know a person living in that region. Likewise, no hostel or bnb could replace staying at a newly met person's place and the ability to share experiences with them and to spend some time together, at least in my humble opinion :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: anything, really :) I enjoy listening to different bands and musicians, from Queen, Claude Debussy, Queen, the Smiths and Radiohead to brockhampton, Lorde, Keaton Henson, Death Cab for Cutie, Arctic Monkeys, twenty one pilots, Hozier, Green Day and many more.

Films: Cowspiracy, It's a Wonderful Life, We Need to Talk About Kevin, The Fundamentals of Caring, The Danish Girl, Donnie Darko, Captain Fantastic, La Belle Verte, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Dead Poets Society, The Shawshank Redemption - just to name a few :)

Books: one of my favourite authors is Matt Haig - his novel called 'The Humans' is exceptionally brilliant. How Not to Die by Michael Greger, The Perks of Being a Wallflower (again!), Birdy by William Wharton, some of the less known John Green's books and many other Polish books (mainly by Kapuściński or Szczerek) are great as well.
