New - attended a few get together - had a blast.

Update - done the full circle - surfed also.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted for the first time (Mar 2010) - was a positive experience. It was a student (under 25 - so did not stick to the age thing) and her friend who came from Florida. They had to come to Houston for a purpose. All and all it was a lot of fun. They got to experience some home cooked (non-traditional) Sri Lankan food. Some fellow csers in the area too got a chance to taste the said non-trad SL food earlier this week (Mar 2010). Hosted Kimeiko Aug 2011 for 3 nights. Stayed two nights - wonderful experience.Do have to say we had one small hiccup - had another stay planned and confirmed about 4 weeks in advance and the day before called to confirm and he said he was not aware of it. So ended up staying at a hotel - but I guess that is the way these things happen.
