ABOUT ME

Hello!

I'm Miki from Japan. I'm an exchange student at Valdosta State University in Georgia, USA. I came from big city Tokyo, so the life in the US is really new experience for me. I'm having a lot of fun.

I'm a very curious person, so I want to travel all around the world, and know what is going on outside of my country. Japan is island country, so most people in Japan is really pure Japanese. So, seeing people from other country, people who have grown up in totally different environment makes me excited!!! Also, I'm a responsible person. I don't like to break a promise and rules! I don't like the person who break a promise and rules. And, I don't like the person throw garbage away on the street!!!!!

PHILOSOPHY

I always keep one thing in mind. That is The idea of 義(gi). This idea was one of the code of Bushido, and it means thinking of other people. In short, it is opposite of egoism. I can't live my life without other people. I need my family, friends and someone who help me. So, I want to treat other people very well, and love them!

Interests

I'm interested in MUSIC very much! I've been playing the piano since I was 3 years old, and also I had been playing the trumpet in hight school brass band. I like not only playing but also listening and singing:) I like many kinds of music, like classical, jazz, pops, club, latin music:) What else? I'm interested in global issues, such as climate change, poverty and so on. I hope I can get a job that I can help people who face to these issues. Also, I like history:) I think I have a lot of things that I'm interested in!!!!
