About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring reality and its many subtleties

ABOUT ME

I am 29 years old, currently on the road. I am a slackliner, musician, philosopher, yogi, artist, and explorer.

I don't want to spoil the surprise. ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't had that many CS experiences, but the few I have were incredible, and I want to keep exploring this amazing community of people, learning and teaching in turn. This is a start on how I believe the world should be. Open, peaceful, loving, healthy, I can't get enough.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't had a bad one yet!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: 3 Iron (amazing film!), Princess Bride, Lost in Translation, Amelie, The Life Aquatic, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Little Miss Sunshine, so many more.

Music: Lately; Unkle, Ludovico Einaudi, Matisyahu, Seu Jorge, Sigur Rós, Emancipator, Bonobo, Yoshida Brothers, Yoko Kanno, Andrew Bird.

Books: Aldous Huxley, Alan Watts, Kurt Vonnegut, Orson Scott Card are a few of my favorite authors. Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse, lots of other books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen/been apart of some really amazing landscapes in my life, I grew up basically at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and have experienced many incredible landscapes, usually I walk on 1 inch bridges in high places when the landscape really sings for it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a decent amount about music theory, although not many songs, I play the guitar and the piano and I'm aspiring to learn to fiddle/play the violin.

I know how to slackline, and I have taught a number of people how to as well, I can help you learn if you want! I've also have been a rock climber for the last 10 years or so, pretty knowledgeable in that regard.

I have a lot of philosophy up my sleeve, and I try to practice it in every way.

I love to learn new things.
