ABOUT ME

I grew up in the woods outside of Athens, Ohio. After Highschool I had no idea what to pursue. I ended up studying architecture almost by chance, but it opened my eyes to the design and helped me look at the world around me with a greater appreciation. It also allowed me to travel, I have lived and worked in San Francisco and Brooklyn and studied in Copenhagen. I am living in Cincinnati Ohio and loving it. The city has a tight community full of some amazing people and places. Now, Im in the process of starting a design company with a couple friends. We love designing and making things.

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy trying to better my self through school, conversations, travel, and new and familiar experiences. I believe that you can learn from everything and I do my best to try and see the lessons.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a couple of times and enjoyed many CS potlucks and meetups in SF and Oakland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every experience I have had with CS has been great. It is awesome to meet so many different and diverse people with a common interest in CS.

Hitch hiking in Hawaii for two weeks was definitely one of the most amazing times of my life. It kind of opened my eyes to the kindness of complete strangers, and it seems that CS is just an extension of that idea.
