I’m a Chinese artist and world traveler. I was born in southern China in a Hakka family, and my roots have shaped much of who I am—resilient, adaptable, and deeply curious about the world. I have studied in Taiwan, New Zealand, and the US. I came back to Asia from the US this March and now I’m backpacking through Asia and the Caucasus on a long, slow adventure with my friend Mao.

She’s also a Chinese artist and this is her very first time traveling abroad. For both of us, this journey is more than just about the places- it’s a practice in intimacy and companionship. Traveling solo is one thing but learning to share every day, every emotion and every uncertainty with a close friend- that’s a deeper kind of challenge and a beautiful one.

This is our first time using Couchsurfing, so we’re starting from 0 reviews. Everyone we meet on this journey is a new connection, which makes every encounter even more special :) We travel lightly and on a tight budget, and right now we’re simply looking for a place to stay. Beds or floors are both fine—what matters most to us is the human connection. Sharing a meal, swapping travel stories, or just lying on the carpet while good music plays—that’s what we’ll remember.
