My name is Kira. I have lived throughout the USA, but am origanally from North Carolina. I have traveled to 42 out of 50 US states and have worked in 3 National Parks. I am a biologist by trade. I love to be outdoors and play in the sun. I love drinking whiskey on the rocks, but am also interested in a tasty micro-brews as well. My loving partner Aaron and I share a passion for cooking and love to read and play around with recipes. My hobby is life, and I am always looking for a new adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on Couchsurfing because traveling is too darn expensive and half the reason is room and board. I want to help make it a bit more feasible for any/everyone to see the world. I feel that Couchsurfing is like a savings account for Karma and I want to collect as many Karma points as possible before I pack my bags for Europe in a few years for a bike tour :)
