About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To drink as much wine from as many different regions with as many different people.

ABOUT ME

I'm generally an outgoing, active person. I like spending most of my time with friends and family. I love making wine and people that enjoy it! If you have a dry wit and laugh at most inappropriate jokes, we can probably be friends.

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass, but rather learning to dance in the rain."--Anonymous
"I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living."--Dr. Seuss

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting if I'm in town and available, or just stopping by for a drink.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted several fantastic individuals so far and look forward to hosting more. I've surfed in Europe and California and love meeting all the wonderful unique people.

Interests

I love to cook for my friends and their friends. I'm always looking to explore the outdoors in unique ways - skiing, paddle boarding, kite boarding, hiking ect. Other days I'm caught up in a great book or my favorite tv show (no shame there). I love the wine industry and spend as much time in vineyards as work allows. And if I can throw some salsa dancing in there somewhere I'm really happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, just not scary ones. I'm open to all music, I enjoy learning about new styles. I read a lot of biographies and historical novels. Oh, and many books about wine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once survived a ride on a stampeding elephant (provoked by a fire cracker) in northern Thailand.
Most profound moments seem to happen very late at night or very early in the morning.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cambodia, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
