CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to exchange mundane, small-town life for an Australian adventure! My friend and I plan on surfing (and couch surfing!) our way around the country. We would love to be shown around by the people who know Australia best.

ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm nineteen years old and from a small town in North-Western Ontario, Canada. Two years ago after graduation I bypassed higher learning for a chance to see the world.. and I haven't looked back since. Recently, I lived in London, England, and worked as a waitress in an American-style barbeque restautant in Soho, traveling whenver I could get the time off. I love exploring new places and meeting new people. The idea of couch surfing sounds awesome because I want to experience Australia like a local, not a tourist! At the moment I am living with my parents and working as a bartender and salon receptionist. I am super outgoing and easy to get along with, and am happiest when I'm surrounded by crazy, interesting people!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for me. I've never felt like there were things that I "have" to do in my life. There isn't a timeline or a list of achievements that I feel I need to accomplish. I don't have a five year plan. I take things as they come and always listen to my instincts ahead of anyone else. I read somewhere that you should build your life as if it were a work of art, and I guess that best describes my personal philosophy. And just live for fun! I think you should always be happy and comfortable with every aspect of your life, otherwise you need to make some changes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing is more amazing than running barefoot down the street in a foreign country with best friends you never knew existed, having no idea where or who you are. The feeling of literally having the entire world in front of you.. being able to do whatever you want and nothing can stop you.
