30 yo doctoral student from Berlin.
Currently working on my thesis about young artists and the international art market.
With few interruptions I have been living in Berlin for the last 10 years.
During that time I spent 8 months in France (Dijon) during my masters programme and started to learn French (puh, c'est difficile!). Also, I am very interested in the East Asian Culture and try to travel to Asia as often as I can and as my purse allows me to :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Great opportunity to meet new people, to practice languages and to get to know a city.
Plus it's much more enjoyable to stay at someone's carefully decorated apartment than in a sterile hotel room.

So far, I have been surfing on amazing couches in Osaka, Kyoto, Lyon, Stockholm and Rome.

Interests

Very passionate about arts and culture. Love to spend the whole day in museums.

Also very much interested in the Asian cuisine but unfortunately not blessed with cooking skills - however, no one chops vegetables as elegant as I do ;)

When not sitting in the library behind a huge stack of books, I'm working on my French: Donc je serais très heureuse de rencontrer des gens francophones pendant mes voyages.
