I am Kiril, born in Bulgaria an living in Switzerland for more than 25 years. I have a degree in computer sciences and worked as an IT developper in Geneva for 6 years. In 2018 I decided, along with my girlfriend, to leave my job and leave my country for an extended tavel to explore our beautiful planet. So far our journey has taken us from the beauty of the balkans, through the unknown steppes of central Asia and the beautiful and fertile lands of south east Asia to finally arrive to the colorfull Colombia. I love sharing with people about their culture but also about mine, speak about our differences but also our similarities. I like to speak about history, litterature, nature, farming, food and wine, animals and people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why I am on couchsurfing? Well, to be honest I am curious to see how that works, how one perfect stranger can go in one's house and sleep there. The cultural exchange should be awesome, much more exciting and enriching than sleeping in a hostel where most of the interaction is done with other backpackers.
