About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living life.

ABOUT ME

Well, I would say I'm a pretty outgoing guy who just enjoys hanging out. I've also decided that I will some day make a great old man, because then I can finally reach my goal of doing nothing but sitting around in a coffee house and playing games and talking with friends (of course at night I would move to a bar). However, until that time I suppose I will just continue to work...and hang out in coffee houses and bars anyway...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel and am willing to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed for a few days in Goettingen, Germany. It was actually pretty awesome, and my host was cool enough that I stayed longer than I had expected to. Overall pretty positive!

Interests

One the thing that really makes life engaging for me is being around other people. I think that if I could spend the rest of my life in a coffee shop (at day)/bar (at night) talking with others I would be perfectly content. As such, my favorite past time is probably just hanging out with friends (but I know very few people who would say that wasn't their favorite).
However, I also really like learning new things, especially about history l, culture, and cities.

As hobbies, I enjoy Ultimate Frisbee, digital media (video games and movies). Occasionally I run, but I infrequently have the time. I'm also a sucker for strategy board games and cards.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies and TV: Comedies are my preferred genre

Music: Mostly alternative or indie, but I like Classic rock too

Books: I'm a fan of dystopian novels (1984, Feed, Unwind) but sci-fi, fantasy, but cultural studies make the list too

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say that one of the most amazing things I've seen would have been seeing the Altstadt (Old City) of Bern, Switzerland from the height of the Rose Gardens (despite its lack of roses). It was beautifully peaceful.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Slovakia, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
