To take in the United States of America before I buckle down for grad school at NYU this fall.

ABOUT ME

I'm a transportation nerd and a proud Seattlite. I will be attending NYU for my Masters in Public Policy this fall and I want to travel around the States before I dive into school.

I spent a semester studying urban design in Denmark and traveled all over Scandinavia and Europe, but I haven't spent nearly as much time traveling around my own country and I intend to make up for lost time!

I'd love to learn more about transportation issues facing US cities and I want to meet with transportation policy groups in most of the cities I pass through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time couchsurfing, but I've had a lot of friends have incredible experiences and meet amazing people through couchsurfing. I'm excited to give it a try!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I transformed a street in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle into a park once a month during the summer of 2012. Using teeter totter couches, benches, hackie sack, a tetherball pole, a DJ bike and an icicle tricycle, we created a community space that challenged residents to rethink how we use our valuable public right of way.
