ABOUT ME

hey everyone!
I am Kira, a 30 year old actually german but almost french girl. I signed up with couchsurfing because it is an amazingly cool way to get to know people! ( plus we all know how very convenient a nice warm house can be when you are travelling , right?) I am pretty much a travel addict.
which is great fun. Also I want everything. Yesterday. I am incredibly impatient!

I am currently studying biology and geoscience.

Update 2011- no I m not. Seeing that I change my major like underwear , I m back to Neurosciences.

Update 2012: I am in Iceland for a summer job, but will be in Trondheim in the end of August.

new update 2013: Back in Grenoble and loving it.

update 2014: still in Grenoble, but studying something like environmental toxicology now. still loving it.

update 2015: hitchhiking Patagonia. pure

Update 2019: still in Grenoble ( yes I totally got stuck here), working as a botanist, travelling a bit less.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couchsurfing in 2009.
Since then i have become addicted. Usually its not as much spending the night at someones place (although i am sometimes looking for a couch ,too) as getting to know people who actually live in a place.
They usually know more about a place than any tourist information and they are by far the better guides.
Also what I learned here in Grenoble, you will always find someone to join in no matter what activity. This place has a very active group of couch surfers which will offer anything from climbing outings to soirees at home.
