To learn spanish and walk like i´ve never walked before.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Brisbane...born there, lived there, schooled there, worked there. I don´t have a great deal of travel experience but I love it. I have spent time in Vanuatu, and Mexico, London and Amsterdam. Right now I am in Spain attempting to learn spanish and complete el camino de frances.

At home I have taught Drama and Visual Arts to both primary and highschool students. In my own time i surround myself with tunes either from a stereo, iPod or my own mouth (much to the annoyance of those around me I imagine..hence the iPod). I dig hiking in the bush, camping on the beach, hanging out with friends, rock hopping (stumbling mostly) up rivers and drinking good tea with some good conversation around it.

I like people.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far not very much! I am new and still making aquaintances and figuring out the site...once that is done I will step up my participation more so.

Also I am travelling at the moment but I am really looking forward to offering up my couch when I land home and find myself a new place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences with CS have been purely observational up until now. I have alot of friends who surf and have surfers, I have met some really great people through these avenues so I hope to continue that good streak by surfing and having surfers myself.

Music.Everything and anything. Old stuff, new stuff, mainstream, left, heavy, soft, melodic, electric..i dig alot of music. And love it when people show me more!

Movies. I watch alot of movies. saw slumdog millionaire, seven pounds and benjamin button in the space of one jobless week before I left Oz...was a heavy week.

Books. Just finished reading Shantaram...loved it..want to go to india because of it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I´m not sure i´ve done anything amazing in my lifetime but a rocky bus ride out of Morelia and a breathless walk up a mountain side brought to one of the most amazing things I ever saw in Mexico. Mariposa Monarcho. Millions and millions of butterflies...like a fairy land. Was awesome.

Also things amazed me on a regular basis in my work with cycle 1 children (3 to 6year olds) at a Montessori School in Oz...beautiful little munchkins.
