ABOUT ME

We are a easy going couple, both in our 40s.
My children have both left home, so the dogs are my new children. They are spoilt rotten and I adore them.
If you do not like dogs, do not ask to stay. It is their house and you are the guest. I keep the dogs out of the guest bedroom but they have the run of the rest of the house.
(I only mention this as we have had some people who hate dogs and spend their time yelling at the dogs and in one instance kicked them.)
They are for the most part, well behaved dogs and generally don't have a lot to do with new people unless you have a lot to do with them.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't take much seriously (thats what Mark is for).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The more people we have staying, the more we are picking up. We have had some very bad experiences with people who seem keen just to get a free bed and don't really offer a lot to the whole experience. Some others are so fantastic I just want to have them stay for longer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are not here to cater to your wants and whims. we have been burnt quite a few times from couch surfers and we just want happy fun times with travellers who are interested in learning other cultures and experiencing home life in NZ.

兴趣

I love entertaining. We designed the house for maximum outdoor living.
Nothing better than sitting outside, bbq, few drinks, good conversation.
We also love movies and built our own movie room.

Love movies, mainly action or horror movies. Zombies is my thing. Scariest thing in the world! (but they make the best movies)

We are both kiwis, born and raised but we have also both travelled and enjoy hearing about other peoples experiences and stories.
We would love to share good old kiwi food, company and any other help that we can do to make your trip to NZ great.
