About Me

CURRENT MISSION

getting to know wonderful Italy

ABOUT ME

Solidarity for me is one of the core values in life. Supporting each other without giving up one self. I decided to skip my job in hospital as a doctor and started to work for a NGO end of 2011. The decision was right, although I also enjoy working with patients. Life should be more then work and work shouldn't mean less life. I enjoy getting to know people around the world, understanding their backgrounds and what moves them. With my work on topics like Global Health I was always a part of big international networks. My job or medical studies took my to places like South Africa, Ecuador or India. But I want to see more, and I prefer to reduce the tourist bit of travelling as much as possible. Therefore couchsurfing is just right for me ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Living in Ecuador we had several people CouchSurfing at our place and lots of good experiences!!

Interests

I love to dance Tango, read good books, go for a swimm, hiking and cook and eat delicious food.
Moreover politics are important for me. The global inequity in distribution of money, resources and power is something we have to challenge together. The neoliberal attack on our health, well-being and culture won't stop by itself.
