Life experience and work experience - then grad school

ABOUT ME

Grew up in New York, started traveling in high school. Spent a summer in Northern India and then a year abroad in college (Saint Andrews and Paris). Lived in DC for a year working at a law firm before I quit my job and moved to Senegal looking for internship experience in development. Didn't have much of a plan before I got here but have worked my way up to Saint Louis and have been working at a micro finance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just beginning but excited about hosting people. Love where I live and like the idea of sharing it with others. My roommate Tim is an experienced Couch Surfer.

兴趣

Hiking, walking around new places, road trips, horseback riding, volleyball, swimming, warm days and cool nights, sitting with a bourbon in an striking location and taking a deep breath, good beer and good cheese and bars with great atmospheres.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Have you ever seen a double-decker toilet? I stayed in house with a Ladakhi family in the north of India, and they had two toilet holes directly aligned on top of one another. But in all seriousness, spending a week sleeping on that roof surrounded by the Himalayan mountains is one amazing thing I have gotten to do in my life.
