Elliott Smith is my all-time favorite, but rock n' roll from the '60s-'70s (Grateful Dead, Beatles, Stones, Neil Young, Hendrix, etc.) is my go-to. As far as newer stuff, I love Big Thief, Sufjan Stevens, The Strokes, and The National.
