About Me

Hi, I am a 30 year old solo traveller who started out in Australia and is currently making her way through South East Asia (and loving every second!)... after 3 months I will go back to Australia for my second year (if my visa gets accepted - fingers crossed!)

I am in the process of pulling together a blog so would love to know your thoughts on how it can be improved!

I've had a fantastic experience with Couchsurfing so far and I would like to grow this and grow my ever-expanding circle of international friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be looking for somewhere to crash, obviously, at various points on my trip. I am looking to meet new people, particularly locals who have experience and knowledge of the area. It'll be my first time travelling totally alone and I'm sure I'll appreciate a bit of company from like-minded people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Where movies are concerned - anything Disney will do! I like comedy films, and romantic films and anything with a historical back story.
My music taste is quite varied - I love everything from Motown to Drum & bass and everything else in between. As a singer I can appreciate all genres of music.
I'm currently reading a book called 'Ready Player One' and it's got me hooked! One of my all-time favourite trilogies is 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' and I will probably re-read these at some point! I love books about travelling and exploring so if you have any recommendations I'm all ears!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sang my brother's first dance at his wedding... Even through the tears it was an amazing experience!
