About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a down to earth, easy to talk to kind of girl. I enjoy the simple things that life has to offer and take full advantage of any situation. I'm a happy person, smiling all the time, and my work mates often think something has gone terribly wrong if I'm not beaming the whole day long. I feel that I have a good sense of humour and I certainly know how to laugh at myself.

Interests

If I hadn't been saving so hard for travel the past year or so, I would have been spending my money doing activities like indoor rock climbing, yoga, trips to the cinemas and going to social events or dance clubs. I enjoy reading, and can bury my nose in a good fantasy novel all day, but find myself short of time these days, the same goes for my artwork and poetry, when I find the inspiration and time of day, I enjoy it. I adore animals, I have an amazing blue heeler named Axle and I had a horse for 8 years but she recently died. I take great pleasure in bushwalking, either solo or with friends, there are a few quiet national parks close to me where I find escape from the daily routine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Galloping a horse along the beach in Saba, Indonesia, the exhilaration of experiencing such speed with waves crashing beside me and a living, breathing animal beneath me was amazing.

Seeing the Sydney opera house, harbour bridge and cityscape from multiple angles while being tossed around on theme park rides in Luna Park, Sydney, was brilliant fun.

I said I enjoy the simple things, and one of the most breathtaking afternoons of my life was a sunset I witnessed with my best friend while swimming in the crystal clear waters of Coogee Beach, Perth. The colours in the sky and on the water's surface looked like they had been extracted from a painting
