Hi there! My name is Kirstine, I'm 28 years old and from Aarhus, Denmark. I teach French, English and Art History, which are all passions of mine that I love to discuss and learn more about. As a person I'm open-minded, positive and curious.

I think the best way to travel is to be able to meet and talk to the locals. It is more fun and it can broaden your perspective and create a much stronger experience of how it is to live in different places all over the world.

In Aarhus I live in a small apartment with my boyfriend Rasmus. We can host during the summer months JUNE-SEPTEMBER (when we're not on holidays ourselves). We live in central Aarhus close to the Aros Art Museum, the Botanical Garden and a 20 minutes walk for the old part of town with nice restaurants and wine bars.

During city holidays, I love to explore historic and art museums, try new food, wonder around and find all the hidden treasures in small bookshops, drink coffee and find green breathing spaces. I enjoy being outside and have been on several hiking trips in Denmark, Scotland and Iceland, which were amazing experiences.

I have always been in love with French and English language, art and literature. I'm curious and read pretty much everything, but I really enjoy classics like Jane Austen, J.D. Salinger, Ken Kesey or Paul Auster and Delphine de Vigan, poetry and in general books about history, art and rhetoric. My favourite TV series are MadMen and The Wire.

Easy, fun and laid-back company. I like to talk about all the small and big things in life. From living three years in France I'm fluent in French and love to talk about the cities, the people, the food and the wine. I can teach you a lot of French curse words. I enjoy cooking and can make the meanest crème brûlée.
