Hi All, we are Kirsty and Will a plant based / vegan couple from Edinburgh, Kirsty is a registered nurse and Will works within business management. We love the outdoors and nature. We enjoy hiking, trekking, camping, beach days and swimming. We love good food, music, rugby, concerts, animals, movies, reading, socialising, travelling & a cold beer!! ( or maybe 3 or 4). We also enjoy cooking, drinking wine, visiting art galleries, taking some amateur photographs and spending time with Family & Friends.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

To meet new and interesting people in different countries were we can learn about other peoples cultures and ways of life. We would also like to make lifelong friends and once home hope to host some surfers too :)

So far we have had a great experience through couch surfing. We have met some great people, who have been really generous with their time, very knowledgeable and helpful. It's amazing how kind strangers can be to each other and that's why we have loved our surfing experiences. It's great to really get to know some locals and discover the city with them. Couch surfing has gave us some of our best experiences and we can't wait to host people back in Edinburgh once our travels come to an end.

Indie & rock some of our favourite bands are We were promised jet packs, frightened rabbit, Queen, Queens of the Stone Age, Kiss, Eddie Vedder, Kings of Leon, Biffy Clyro, Yeah yeah yeahs, Red hot chilli peppers, Creedence Clearwater, The Growlers, Foo fighters, Metallica and some good old Scottish music. We also love discovering new music and bands. So feel free to introduce us to something new.

Walked the west highland way, a 96 mile trek through the beautiful Scottish highlands.
5 day Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu.
Visited the Galápagos Islands.
Trekked to the lost city in Columbia.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

We can teach you about our favourite sport Rugby, introduce you to some Scottish music, and maybe cook you a nice meal inspired from our home land.
And we are more than happy to learn One or two new recipes.
