About Me

ABOUT ME

I am originally from South Africa. I was here in Michigan for 18 months as an Au Pair in 2006 - 2008. I left and went back home. I was dating an American guy I met here while Au Pairing, we got engaged last year, and I arrived back here at the end of May this year! We got married for visa requirements here in July.
I am now really desperate to meet some new people, I am so bored sitting at home until I can work and some new friends would be really great :)
I am outgoing via text or email (yes I know, technology has done this to so many people, lol), but a shy person when I am around new people for the first time for a while, but as soon as I get to know someone I crawl out of my shell, either pretty quickly or pretty slowly, LOL... I'm also easy going and a very friendly person! I love my friends and hope that I can find new one's to make some new memories with and treasure for a while to come!! :)

Interests

I love going out for coffee with friends - day or night. Love scrapbooking when I have time. Love baking and cooking. I was very into cheese and wine, but have kinda drifted away from that since I arrived here (sad face)... Love to have a good laugh too. Love watching movies and also just relaxing at home :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I have so many favorite movies that I wouldn't have enough space, haha... But I love romance movies and funny movies :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever done is leaving home and Au Pairing in a TOTALLY different country, and being so far away from my family (I am a very family orientated person). Also I got to travel a lot with my ex host family, and also myself with friends!! I had the time of my life! The Grand Canyon was AMAZING to see, I had the opportunity to fly over it, and get an arial view (yay!)...
