About Me

I'd like to describe myself as a writer- photographer and a wandering soul who loves to do things with the whole of his heart. Although I dislike monotony I can surprise myself by displaying an amazing sense of stability when required. I'm a night person and can at my best when in good company.
I have a knack for remembering names and faces of the people I meet with eerie accuracy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet and interact with fellow travellers

Interests

Reading both - people and books. Meeting new people can either result in a surprise or a shock but reveal several new kinds of personalities that we did not know existed. It's fun.
I also enjoy riding, playing games on playstation / xbox, watching sitcoms, trying the new food joint in town.
Although I do enjoy clubbing, I am more inclined towards live music events.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked in the Himalayas..crossed Sar Pass at 13800 ft ASL.
I'm absolutely fascinated by the diverse culture of our country. This fascination has fuelled a couple of solo backpacking trips - The Pushkar Fair (Pushkar Mela) in Rajasthan, Palace / Fort hopping in Jaipur, Navratri celebrations in Baroda and Ahmedabad in Gujarat, etc. I have my eyes set on the Rann Utsav in Dec / Jan.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have always lived in Goa. I'd love to share insider secrets on the offbeat places and things to try in Goa for a memorable experience.
I am a trained photographer; I can teach the basics of photography - a few rules of composition, how to make the most of the flexibility that a DSLR offers over a compact camera, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories! - good stories... bad stories...but lots of stories. I strongly believe that every experience, regardless of whether good or bad, has some learning points for us. Would be a shame to waste them by not sharing them. :)
