Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am undertaking my first trips out to other countries, and would like to be able to make deeper connections with the places I visit. I am not someone who enjoys hotels or resorts, and I want to have more flexibility with where I stay and for how long. I am also trying to challenge myself to be more out-going and adventurous as I am usually fairly reserved.

I am a music obsessive! since 2022 I have listened to more than 1000 albums and my current project is to listen to a new album from every country in the world :) I always love trying to find common ground with other people and using music as a way to form a connection. I really love horror films, but appreciate quality cinema of any genre :) Some movies I have really enjoyed are: I Saw the TV Glow, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, The Substance, Orlando

I don't read as much as I think I do, but my favourite books are typically sci-fi (particularly short stories) and literary fiction.
