CURRENT MISSION

Travel!!! I live for travelling and have been stuck in Ottawa for almost a year now, just getting some stuff done, so now it's travel time :)

ABOUT ME

Well... I own a dog, been hitch-hikin since I was 14, goin all over Canada, finally settled down last year (when I was 17) and decided to get my Driver's License and GED, which I have now accomplished so I'm back out on the road for a while more.

PHILOSOPHY

For me, freedom is important. I've actually got a real simple outlook on life... If you're not happy do something about it... that's what I live by. If something's buggin me , I do something about it before it gets outta hand.

If I was told I had terminal cancer... before it got to the point that I couldn't take care of myself, I would be out in the woods with a gun and I woudn't come back, if you know what I mean. I believe in quality of life, not quantity, you know. If I die at 45, I'll know that I lived every day as best I could.

Now all of that sounds all serious and whatever lol, but I'm really not. I love havin fun, I think it's the whole point of life. To laugh, enjoy each other's company, love life. I don't think there's anything that's more important than enjoying yourself and livin every day the best you possibly can. HAVE FUN :)!! If you can't do that, then whats the point of it all?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I actually just found the site, so I really haven't participated all that much lol, but certainly I'm hopin that when i'm stopped in a city for a few days I might be able to find somewhere to sleep that isn't under a bridge, and once I settle down and get my own place I will certainly reciprocate :).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None really... a few people picked us up while hitch-hikin I suppose and took us back to their place for a night, but nothing actually organised like this.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love reading, love movies, love music... far too much to list here. I can say I have a very eclectic tatse in music, and probably in books and movies as well... I love all sorts of types, new, old, downright strange... as I said, far too many to list here lol. And I'm no good at picking out favs, because as soon as I put one down, I'm like no wait, but what about this one... suffice it to say, there's not too much that I don't like.

OK... I don't like rap or hip hop... but there are still some songs I like in both of those genres, so whatever. I can appreciate most things, be it book, music or movie.

Teach, Learn, Share

LIVE! Enjoy life lol, and don't get caught up in the little things, there really is no point. I know your mom probly said this all the time so now I sound like a real loser, but if it isn't still going to be bothering you ten years down the road, it really doesn't matter!

I don't know... don't be sad. If you're sad, look at what's making you sad, then do something about it. And don't let anybody tell you that you can't do something. If they do, then just do it twice as well because you're so mad at them! Haha... I don't know... just enjoy life while you've got it :)
