ABOUT ME

I'm nearing the end of a year long journey around the globe and am buzzing from all the fantastic things I've seen and people I've met. I've got sore shoulders and pretty dern empty pockets, but I kinda never want this ride to end.

I'm a fairly laid back kinda kid, though I definately have passions and enjoy a good discussion. I'm loving travelling and all the great things it allows me to do. I'm travelling solo for the greater part of this trip and so I'm relishing the opportunity to meet people and make friends from all around the world.

I finished my undergrad last year in Creative Writing, and don't really know what I want to do with it now that I've got the peice of paper. So that's where this trip came into the picture - I figured I'd travel and learn a few things about the world and things would fall neatly into place. Surpirise! They haven't, but I have had an awesome time.

While studying I worked in hospitality in many different areas, which if nothing else, has given me an appreciation of fine food (which i now can't afford!).

I love animals of all descriptions and am aching to get a dog when I go back home. In the meantime, I fuss over dogs I see in the street, and try to entice stary cats into my backpack.

PHILOSOPHY

Never regret a thing. Regrets are useless and just mena that we haven't learnt the lesson we could have gained from a mistake. So learn and grow, but keep your focus forward.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new to couschsurfing, having surfed only once with my friend over new years' in Vienna. I really enjoyed the experince and am looking forward to meeting more people on my travels and hosting/meeting people when I get home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just once, over New Years, in Vienna. A few of my good friends are couchsurfers and always tell me how much fun they have and about the great people they get to meet. And I'm thinking that I want to play, too!
