ABOUT ME

I love exploring, learning about and experiencing new cultures. I want to live my life as best I can to be friendly to people, to the environment and to be satisfied in the moment, all the while being true to myself. I think it is important to be open, because you never know what might happen, who you might meet, or what you will decide to do and why. I believe the world is a better place when people choose to care and be informed and are open to learn from how other people live.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There have been many places that have shown me some great couchsurfing hospitality--namely Peru (Cuzco) and in a small village in northern Luzon in the Philippines (Balbalasang), in Germany (before I moved here) and with friends in Vancouver. I definately enjoyed all of these experiences, but my favourite is in the Philippines. Although there were cockroaches in the bedroom and rats downstairs, there were also some wonderful giving people who opened up their hearts and homes for some strange visitors they had never met.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have seen so many amazing things. I love scenery--especially mountains. Probably some of the most beautiful mountains were in Bolivia when I biked the "death road". I also loved the ones in Luang Prabang in Laos. Iguazu Falls in Argentina was also spectacular. And I love the colour of the Mediterranean Sea on the Croatian coast.
