I've founded a tech startup. It's a baby at the moment, or maybe a toddler! I enjoy learning about the world and how it works. I'm interested in peace and justice. To relax and exercise I like to dance salsa and bachata, bicycle, and ski. I like taking trips on my 1985 Yamaha Venture Royale motorcycle, and I also use it around town a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the ethos of couchsurfing, and I've been doing it informally for years through my network of friends, so here I am making it formal. I've been an Airbnb host for years, and often I'll have gaps midweek with no guests, and I figure I might as well fill those gaps up with last-minute couch-surfers! (Weekends are usually booked.) Hosting brings me back to the days when I was an Amtrak Train Attendant.
