ABOUT ME

I only just found out about Couchsurfing earlier this year so am still quite new to this ☻ I love the philosophy of random acts of kindness for strangers & therefore love CSing - it is an amazing idea where you get to bless other people with a home to stay in rather then an empty hotel room!

I am a fun, positive, quirky, friendly & caring person. I love talking to people & learning about their life. My sense of humor is slightly bizarre & dry.

I am happily married to my very wonderful & hairy husband Dave & we have a son called Boris - also very hairy (aka our pet rat).

I love people! I think it's such a privilege to get the opportunity to host travellers from all over the world & a blessing to meet locals when travelling.

兴趣

Drinking enormous cups of tea,
getting to know people, culture, nature, animals. I very much enjoy food & mostly eat vegan food... unless there is a cheesecake staring at me!

I love singing & dabble (amateurly!) on the ukulele, guitar, piano & bass clarinet. I am a creative soul & enjoy painting, sketching, journalling, repurposing, & even decorating cupcakes.

I love being active & enjoy adventure so in my free time I do things like hiking, rock climbing, stand up paddle surfing, fishing, playing sport, camping, snowboarding, etc.

Amazing thing I've done: I used to be a Zoo Keeper at Australia Zoo... lots of interesting experiences in that job!

I have to add a second :) I got to watch a friend of mine give birth to her son - this was an incredible & beautiful thing to watch.
