I moved to Russia a year and a half ago to teach art history and write a little.
I enjoy these things, and if it were not for visa dances being long and arduous, would have little intention to return.
Am curious about curiosities and mundaneities equally; love new experiences, and old ones too. Am a good guest: polite, relatively tidy, non-smoking, and animal friendly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing many years ago to meet native french speakers in a land hostile to hearing my butchered tongue (France) for coffee. I made some good friends through the site and have returned some years later in order to meet local people and deepen insight when travelling.
