ABOUT ME

Hello there, thanks for reading my profile. It is hard to define oneself using a small text box. I believe you can learn more about a person in 5 minutes of meeting them than reading a full-page profile. That aside I have put some points below in the hope that what you read enlightens you to at least some of my personality.

I am an out-going and friendly kiwi who has been living in Brisbane for nearly 16 years.

I love to laugh and am constantly making jokes (or being the butt of them). That being said there is a serious side to my nature and I respect and value other peoples opinions, feelings, beliefs and property!

I enjoy a good party like most of us do, but also love taking time out from that to immerse myself in the sights, sounds, and culture that is the place I am visiting/living. I love to hear other peoples stories and experiences and enjoy sharing my own with them in return.

Couch surfing is amazing in its ability to bring people and cultures together in a way that is so different than when staying at a hostel cannot. I look forward to hearing from you.

All of my CouchSurfing hosts so far have been the embodiment of what it is to open your home and lives to travellers. They inspired me to share my couch - I am very excited to be able to pass on the hospitality they showed me to a traveller/s in need.

Spending an hour with the Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda touched me like few experiences in life have. The understanding in their eyes, the power in their bodies and the playfulness in their nature are definitely something to behold.

Happy to do whatever necessary to make my stay as easy as possible for a host including giving the host their space and spending time away from the home if necessary. Cooking a meal or so etc.
