I'm an avid fan of the blues, I've been playing blues harp for the last couple of years and I'm ALWAYS looking for someone to jam with.

As for music tastes they could probably be described as eclectic in the extreme. Anything from 1920's Swing to classic Hip Hop.

I mostly read fiction - favourite authors include Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams but I'll give anything a go.

Probably assisting during orthopaedic surgery as part of my training as a medic. The first few times can only be described as surreal - especially when the surgeon walks you through screwing steel plates to someones femur.

If you're coming to New Zealand and are planning on doing any hiking in the mountains or national parks ensure you have the proper clothing and equipment.

Many people (including experienced mountaineers/hikers) have got themselves in a world of strife due to both being unprepared and the sudden weather changes inherent in much of the country.

This isn't to put you off though! NZ is renown for its amazing scenery and great times can be had exploring the country.
