ABOUT ME

Hi there, I'm Gary. Bev is my amazing wife

I live in this wonderful,little place called Feilding in the the lower North Island of New Zealand with my awesome wife Beverley and our youngest (teen) daughter. Feilding is a great place to raise kids and has a motor racing circuit on the edge of town. All the others have grown up and left home and are exploring life. So now it's our turn to get out and explore life, not grow up, wouldn't dream of that. I love teaching and meeting interesting people and can't wait to get more active in couchsurfing.

New Zealand is a beautiful country with lots to see and do but a lot of it costs. Hopefully I can help you out with your trip.

PHILOSOPHY

Our life is a journey full of shared experiences. It should be a spiritual, sensual and compassionate journey. Enjoy and celebrate life without hurt.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have overnight accomodation for fellow surfers in a simple family situation. We have plenty of room and would love to have you pop in. It's a working family so sometimes we wont be around a lot and can't host everyone but would love to help you if we can. If you get stuck have problems we will always try to help you out.

The internet has lifted my passion for meeting people from other countries and introduced me to many friends around the world. I would love to be able to visit a few of them

As a family we travelled through USA and Canada in 2010. Ther were too many of us to couchsurf but it would have saved us many $$$. With any luck Europe or Asia in the next few years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Beverley and I have hosted surfers several times and love the interaction and friendships we make. I / We have not been able to surf ourselves yet but are looking forward to when we can. It would be nice to do a couchsurfing tour around NZ on the motorbike. Then perhaps USA and Europe.

兴趣

We have had a lot of fun camping and caravaning around the North Island over the years. Spending time in the company of friends.

A passion of mine is motorcycles. I Would love to ride through Europe and the USA and hope to combine these interests one day.

I love building and creating things and occasionally dabble in poetry. There are some amazingly talented people out there.

We love meeting adventurous and open minded people of all ages and cultures.
