ABOUT ME

I've lived on Vancouver Island my entire life starting in Nanaimo, and now currently in Victoria. I work at a clothing store downtown and ride my single speed bike everywhere-her name is Lucy. I have one cat named Carbon she's mostly black and grumpy looking, but always friendly. My partner and I have been together for a year and a half and live together in a house with one other room mate.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to stay postive and always try to find the best in any situation.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My Partner has have a couch surfing account for a while and through him we have had lots of surfers stay with us and have had a really great time participating. We've met tons of great people from all over the world. I made my own couch surfing account recently because I am going to do some travelling myself!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My most memorial couchsurfing experience would be when we had a couple from Australia stay with us, Carly and Owen. We had a lot of fun showing then around Victoria, and camping on Sombrio beach. They continued up north to Alaska ad stayed with us again on there way back. They along with all of the couch surfers who've stayed with us have inspired me to do some travelling of my own.

I'm interested in bike riding adventures, swimming in lakes, rivers, pools, and the ocean. I like running too. I love reading fiction, and writing some as well. I really enjoy knitting, my latest project is a pair of slippers! I love going for hikes in the forest or just being in the forest. I've also started enjoying cooking and have been getting ebtter at that everyday. I really love dancing too :)

I love movies set in the 1800's, movies from the 80's, comedies, and dramas.
Favourites: Breakfast Club, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Shakespear in Love, Pride and Prejudice

I enjoy reading fiction, my favourite authors are Jane Austen and Douglas Coupland.

I like a wide range of music from rootsy/mellow to electronic/dance/pop and classical.
