Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to travel on my own more often, starting with a trip to Colorado. A friend told me about couch surfing and I am very intrigued by it. More about meeting new people in different places, but I am open to hosting people and possibly couch surfing myself some.

Interests

Nature and outdoors. I love hiking with my dog. We also do some roller blading and biking. I enjoy exploring new places and trying new things. I don't drink much, but enjoy the occasional beer or glass of wine. I like to bake and grill out. Camping and bon fires are the best. I love to dance!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a large variety of music. There's really not too much that I don't like.

I watch everything except scary movies. I don't have cable or internet, so I tend to watch a lot in the winter time. I'm a huge fan of kid movies, Disney, Pixar, etc.

I usually like fiction books. I enjoy popular series like Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, but I read some self improvement books as well.

Totally sucked into Game of Thrones! I haven't seen any of season 5 yet, so don't spoil anything please!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-swam with dolphins in Mexico
-zip lined through the jungle in Honduras
-Dancing with the Stars fundraiser for local non-profits where my partner and I performed ballroom dances to waltz and cha cha while we also raised money for our non-profits
-went skydiving with my mom. Hope to do it again!

I am a professional dog trainer. I'd be willing to share some insight on dog training and behaviors if needed. I would consider teaching a couple tricks if interested! : )

I have been taking dancing lessons all of my life. I recently have been getting involved with a lot of ballroom dances. I could share some basic steps.
