ABOUT ME

I was born and brought up in New Delhi, India. My father is an exporter of table top items all over the world, so luckily I have got the opportunity to travel all over. However, going with my family, we have only stayed at 5 star hotels in city centers, and I do not feel like I have got the actual experience of any of the countries I have visited.

I am 28 and a student at U of T in the Toronto, and am doing my major in Business Design. I love to travel and see and meet new people and learn about new cultures.

Personally, I am fun-loving, like to talk a lot, like to party, play video-games, obsessed with cricket (it's a religion in India!), My dad and I make our own wine in India! We have a vintage car so go on rally's all over in Delhi (only when my elephants not feeling too well... that's a joke by the way for those who thinks EVERYONE in India has an elephant!)

Also, Yes, I have seen Slumdog Millionaire!! haha

PHILOSOPHY

I am in a kind of confused position in my life.
I am studying finance, but don't really know if I want to go into Finance. I always wanted to be a politcian and be the greatest prime-minister of India of all time and completely change my country. But college has changed my dream to a mansion and an Italian car! So, not completely sure where I want to work.

Other than that, I am extremely laid-back, let people do whatever they want, extremely rarely get angry, just like to hang out.

I kind of want to do everything in my life, every day I think about something new, and then I want to do it and change all my future plans.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I truly believe that the best way to experience a place is to stay with locals and not in a hotel in the city-center.
I would love nothing more than for you to visit me and stay on my couch in India. I can talk to about India for hours:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CoucSurfing experience is actually going to be this weekend with my roommate in Bornholm. I will update you all about it.

I am really into house music now days, other than that I am a big blues fan and like Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, BB King etc.
I am a big comedy movie buff and will watch any funny movie
I like Roald Dahl, Books about India, JK Rowling, Jeffrey Archer, used to be into business books, but not so much anymore.

My favorite memory is when 3 of us used to teach in a charitable school in India. We were told that because of us and the amount of fun we made the children have, their attendance was the highest it had ever been. The kids were willing to come to school on Saturday if we could make it! That too me, is an amazing thing I have done.
