ABOUT ME

My great loves are photography, travel, and music.

I get excited about animals the way five year olds do. I try to make friends with every cat I see. I've been a vegetarian for several years now, but most of my friends are meat eaters and I have no problem with that.

I try and support local businesses as much as possible. I like pretty much every genre of music imaginable and love vinyl records. Also I really like art galleries and museums.

I like seeing a movie at the indie theater by my house, going to a happy hour or going to a good concert or 80's night and dancing poorly. I love craft beer. In the summer I like going camping and kayaking on the rivers and going to winneries.

In January 2017 I embark on a year long around the world trip. I hope to incorporate couch surfing meetup events and staying with some hosts. I haven't had an opportunity to stay with a host yet, so I look forward to connecting with some locals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had friends do couch surfing, but I haven't had the opportunity yet. Went out for dinner and ice cream with a couchsurfer from Nicaragua.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to pick just one...visting the Galapagos Islands, holding a koala, going bungie jumping off the original bungie jumping site in NZ, sailing in the Great Barrier Reef, feeding kangaroos, taking a cooking class in Thailand, drinking rum out of a coconut on a beach with a local in Fiji, getting lost in Venice.. .
