Overview
About Me
Currently studying in Göttingen, this is where my (mostly short :()) travels start....Hiking or getting around by bike are the best ways for me to explore new places, as well as getting to know local people for the cool insider tips. While travelling, I love to mix outdoor activities and adventures with calm and relaxing moments (reading good books at the beach or in a nice cafe, or just strolling through the streets)
As a pastime I love cooking (and definitely eating!), reading books, going for walks, looking for new cafés and restaurants, playing games, watching movies and all that most preferably with friends. Sometimes even my artistic vein shows up and I play the clarinet or try and write little poems, but it is more likely (when I am not busy with my studies) to find me going for a run climbing or gardening!
I am a spontaneous and optimistic person, and happy to take things, the weather and people as they come.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After making really good experiences with couchsurfing in New Zealand, where I stayed for 10 months mainly working as an Au-Pair, I want to revive this type of adventurous travelling! I'm looking forward to meeting people and seeing a bit more of the beautiful world we're living on.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: The Da Vinci Code, Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind, Tobie Lolness, Black Out, and many more I forgot:) from fantasy to historical novels and thrillers
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking along the coast of Abel Tasman National Park in New Zealand or singing songs in a dark cave full of blue glowworms definitely were some of the best. And crawling through a cave in a wetsuit and almost losing my gumboots. But it isn´t hard to fing amazing things every day that make me happy:)

As I am studying biodiversity I think I am going to accumulate some knowledge about funny organisms that most have never heard of :)
