I haven't lived at home since I was 16.

I haven't used CS for a while because I didn't want to pay for it because I didn't use it too often. But now I'm back. Unfortunately, due to account inactivity, I lost all of my previous (over sixty positive) references.

I am 75 years old but young at heart, vibrant and still curious about life and people.
I have a wide range of interests, music, video, photography, film and I write books that have already been published.

I have traveled a lot, visited more than 100 countries. Since Corona I have been traveling less.

I lived abroad for many years - a year in Turkey, a year in Florida, a year in England, nine months in Greece, a year in Italy, half a year in Tunisia, many months in France, in the former Yugoslavia and in Syria. With my partner at the time and a tandem bike, I cycled across southern Europe for four years, all the way to Syria.

I love life and people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to get to know people from all over the world here, would like to speak English from time to time, and maybe hitchhike again at some point.

I like foreign cultures, I used to have more than 60 visitors in the previous Couchsurfing, until I signed off for a while due to Corona.
