Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I have met and travelled with many hilarious people on Couchsurfing! My one surfing experience so far (in Mallorca, Spain) was incredible and I would love to share that with others.

Music: no particular genre. Shakey Graves, Menomena, Modest Mouse, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Gojira, Tribe Called Red, Eric Clapton, Andre Bocelli, Bach... the list goes on...
Books: I believe it's important to engage and read with things you don't agree with... Carlos Castaneda to Ayn Rand to Tolkien... expanding the mindset is vital to growth.
Fave movies: anything classic Tarantino/Kubrick/Hitchcock/Humphrey Bogart, the Sweet Hereafter, Spirited Away, LOTR trilogy, Zoolander, many documentaries, etc.
TV: True Detective, GOT, Sons of Anarchy, Arrested Development

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

An Anti-fascist parade turned Riot Police vs. Neo Nazis vs. Anti fascist bottle war in Prague, Living with nature (rainwater showers!) in a Croatian eco-village, being surprised by sting rays in the Great Guyana Cay, swimming with whale sharks everyday in the Philippines, learning to drive manual in the Brazilian wilderness....

I also find the small, fleeting moments the most amazing. One of my favourites has been seeing one of the rare griffon vultures (8 ft. wingspan!) gliding overhead of my friends and I as we entered Cres Island in Croatia.
