ABOUT ME

I like to really experience the places I go to by hanging out with locals and even working if I can. I do a lot of reading, watching great movies when I can find them, wondering around, usually looking for places to stay and live for awhile. (Don't get scared. I won't just move into your living room permanently). I love being outdoors and inside good bars.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 20 I went to Ireland and found family I didn't know I had. I spent most of 2011 traveling from the western tip of Indonesian to the eastern border in Papua. I made it through the trip by selling jewelry in local markets and on streets along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been all over Asia so I'm always happy to give travel advice. I think I could give intro Bahasa Indonesian lessons. I want to learn how to speak Spanish this year and I always want to learn about great writers, especially in countries I travel to.
