About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm writing a book about the good Samaritan.
ABOUT ME
I'm a social butterfly, I love meeting new people and get along with just about everyone I meet. I could talk to ears off corn, but at the same time love listening to people and their experiences.
I'm currently looking to just go, I am okay with sleeping on couches, or really anywhere. I am extremely low maintenance and travel lightly. I have always loved just going to random places and finding new people to hangout with.
I'm extremely open minded about trying new things and experiences, I do not have any specific plans of where I want to go, or who I want to meet. I pretty much want to give it up to God, let him direct me in the best path.
I have a huge heart and truly just want to help people as much as possible. I am highly spiritual, but open to all beliefs.
I love stimulating conversations and people who are dynamic. At this point in my life I know who I am, I just don't know what it is that I want to do, other than travel around meeting new people and writing.
I really am turned on by the freedom of just getting lost and experiencing as much as I possibly can while I'm alive and willing.
PHILOSOPHY
I personally believe that we are all one person, one being. We're just the perceptions and projections of self at that time. So by traveling I will be able to access the reality of what I project through mirroring. I have met so many people already in my life, all amazing. I feel that by loving myself, I am able to be loved by others and truly love all people. I don't judge people, I have been through a lot of stuff in my life, I like to consider myself like a modern day Job. So it is easy for me to empathize with a large scale of people. I believe I am in complete control of my destiny, we can chose to live in Heaven or Hell, everything in life is a choice, an acceptance. People can't hurt us, people can't make us feel anything that we do not accept or project onto others. So basically our realities are made of what we judge others by, so if you love yourself, live by blind faith, let God take care of you, that is the true definition of Love. I could go on and on, my favorite doctrines' are those that I create through my own perceptions, given to me through enlightenment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am domesticated and love helping people. I will cook (well, frozen meals) clean, or whatever it is that you want while I'm there. I really want to be subservient and experience a different perspective of life other than what I know from my small town. I am really down to do pretty much anything (other than sexual stuff) I'm really reserved sexually and the idea of causal sex grosses me out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have lived this lifestyle on and off for many years. I've been blessed by God to have many Angels who want to take me in and help me out. I recently went to NYC on a whim with some strangers from a bar, they ended up leaving while I was at an Alex Grey party, It was amazing because I was taken in by some really awesome people. I ended up finding a way home several days later. I am living on a friend's couch right now, I met him a few months ago. I am ready to venture off and see some new things. I have a lot of stories about couch surfing, or just my travels. I have always been embraced with open arms, people are typically very sad when I move onto the next place.
Interests
I am interested in anything and everything. This is why I want to live this way. I have learned more traveling and from people than I would have sitting in a classroom. I have an eclectic style that is pretty broad, but I am always up for just about anything.
- writing
- books
- cooking
- partying
- pub crawls
- traveling
- surfing
Music, Movies, and Books
Once again, I am pretty eclectic when it comes to such things, although I am a huge music fan, I love Pink Floyd and any type of soft rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in Dallas a few years ago, I had no where to stay, so I went to my local pub, with my suitcase and this woman took me in, along with another homeless man. I slept on her couch, he on her floor right below me. It was a very interesting experience. This older lady's boyfriend took a liking to me because I was teaching him to read and write, so he tried kissing me several times during the night. This pissed off the lady, so she turned the heat up (during summer on a 115 day) all the way to 90, unplugged my fan. I woke up so dehydrated. Even worse she used my toothbrush to clean her toilets. I have done a lot on my travels, everything comes with a story and an experience. It is really hard to narrow it down to just a few stories.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to study people, I think through being a voyeur I have learned a lot about life. I think the main principal and the most important thing I've learned thus far in life, is to love one's self. To affirm and give yourself everything that you want, God is everything, he is everyone. So basically if you love yourself, respect yourself, others will do the same for you. It's all about balance and observing and self love. Forgetting the past, healing and moving on. Loving those who have hurt you, because through hurt comes the biggest blessings. Those who love you, will hurt you the most, this in itself is a beautiful thing. So not to escape to my past and live in a vicious circle of regression, but to move forward and learn as much as I can, to create a beautiful beginning every second of the day, for tomorrow is only today's ending and today is only the beginning of the of yesterday. To move forward is to live, to stand still is to die, to live in a repetitive trap is not healthy. The only way to truly be set free, is to love and trust yourself.
