Hello :)

Im 29, year historian and currently working as social worker. I just like to meeting new interesting people from all around the world. I like playing guitar (very basic level), ukulele and learning different languages on Duolingo. Each year is my plan to learn new instrument. (This year is year of bagpipes and piano).

Now im running small social club where me and my friends organise concerts during the winter and in summer we host couchsurfers. It is really near Ljubljana. With bus its is 15min away from main bus station Ljubljana.

But its cool place with a lot of instruments and games (pool table) & pinkpong (table tennis).

We also have an open kitchen where you are free to cook 😊. Now I started collecting board games and brewing my own beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because i want to met local people and their lifestyle not just monuments. I’m very curious and always want to learn new things!

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer old rock music or alternative. My favorite bands are Nirvana, RHCP, Queen and from Balkan Dubioza Kolektiv and SARS. I also trying to play bagpipes, ukulele and guitar.
I love histroy and society books. My favorite author is George Orwell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Gambia to help in local school teaching English. Every year I work free as animator here in Slovenia where, we take children from poor families to seaside.
In corona times we renovated old building called Kmetski dom. The building was abandoned 20 years. Now we are running social home with a lot of concerts and different events. There we host travellers all around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I more want to learn stuff from couchsurfers. I can share with you my knowledge in slovenian and ex-yu history if you are interested. And I can teach you some 4 chords on guitar which is enought for most of the popular pop songs :)

I can teach you some cool board games, while drinking my craft beer!
