ABOUT ME

I am in my first year of graduate school in a completely mind-indulgent field, so I can one day do my famous 5 minute history synopses in front of a bunch of unsuspecting students.. I travel a lot and love meeting new people.

I have a small library, a bronze medal, and a love for tea and red wine. I know nothing about pop culture and if you love a movie, odds are I haven’t seen it. I do, however, know all sorts of random facts and stories that, honestly, only I seem to enjoy. My bedmates are two mutts and my best friend is a 1200lb mammal covered in fur. I travel, eat banana splits with three scoops chocolate and extra fudge, and cry when I watch Extreme Home Makeover or RFK speeches.

PHILOSOPHY

Even now, all possible feelings do not yet exist. There are still those that lie beyond our capacity and our imagination. From time to time, when a piece of music no one has ever written, or a painting no one has ever painted, or something else impossible to predict, fathom, or yet describe takes place, a new feeling enters the world. And then, for the millionth time in the history of feeling, the heart surges, and absorbs the impact.

I have surfed in Europe and hosted here in the states

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favorite was in the Algarve in Portugal. Got picked up by a couchsurfer, brought to amazing midnight parties on rooftops and layed on beaches during the day. Wonderful people!
