À propos de moi

ABOUT ME

Im a college student in California who wants to travel the world and see everything and help everyone I see.

PHILOSOPHY

Love God and Love people and live a life that reflects it.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I just joined the CS2 project so I'm not really doing much yet. However I love the idea of creating an international community where you can learn and grow through experiences outside of your everyday culture. Dorms aren't very conducive to hosting other travelers, but I would love to some sort of a hospitality house someday where people can come if they need a place to stay and someone to talk to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done quite a bit of couch surfing among relatives and friends. If I come for a visit I'm really not one to get a hotel if there is a lovely free couch to be had with people that I care about. So most of my couch surfing has been in relatives houses, or when visiting the wonderful Source community of Minneapolis, MN.....
.........most interesting couch surfing experience was when sleeping on the first floor of an old three story house in MPLS and a bat got in causing my friend Jesce and I to duck under our blankets every few minutes as it swooped passed our heads......

Centres d'intérêt

Learning/experiencing other cultures (especially music and food!). exploring, dancing (esp. swing), singing, Eating, painting,......fighting injustice and trying to impact the world, hanging out with the homeless, reading, walking in nature, Nature, the Ocean (though so far I have only experienced the Pacific), I actually really do like going to school and studying as long as the teachers aren't monotonous and the classes aren't too early in the morning........

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I have a wide range of musical interests, from Punk to classical, I'm fairly open (just not so much into the trendy pop scene or the mainstream rap scene). A few good ones include: Me Without You, Minus the Bear, Psalters, Decemberists, Sufjan Stevens, Showbread, and Ella Fitzgerald, just to name a few.
-Movies, well I really like period pieces, documentaries, indy films, musicals and of course some shameless romantic comedies.
-Books, well I love them and I have a bad habit of going to the book store, getting really excited and buy a bunch of books, and then never having time to read them. Well mu library is made up mostly of American and British classics and theology.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Well one of the most exciting, fun and liberating experiences was driving across the US (not all the way, just from California to Illinois) in my friends large green bus, with 6 5 of my friends...We drove to a music festival in Bushnell, IL called Cornerstone, which was a whole other exciting experience in itself.
